Quick Rant on Lauryn Hill

So Lauryn Hill showed up two hours late to her concert in Atlanta Friday and performed for only 40 minutes. Then she went on Facebook and posted the lamest explanation for her tardiness. "I don’t show up late to shows because I don’t care,” she wrote. "And I have nothing but Love and respect for my fans. The challenge is aligning my energy with the time, taking something that isn’t easily classified or contained, and trying to make it available for others. I don’t have an on/off switch.” Weird. Pearl Jam has been touring consistently since 1991 and never showed up two hours late. Same with Bruce Springsteen, who's been touring since 1973. How about showing up on time for fans who spent their hard-earned money to see you? Or how about you stop making lame excuses and accept responsibility for being late? Okay, rant over.
