Aaron Rodgers showed that his connection with Randall Cobb goes beyond the field over the weekend, when the Packers quarterback made it out to Lexington, Ky., to attend the wide receiver’s college graduation ceremony.

Rodgers attended the ceremony at the University of Kentucky after spending Saturday at Churchill Downs, enjoying the Bluegrass State’s signature sporting event, the Kentucky Derby.

The 25-year-old Cobb still has some courses to finish over the summer to complete the degree, which he began pursuing in 2008 but put on hold when he entered the NFL after his junior year.
