Antonio Brown wants to be just like a Pokemon character

Steelers wideout Antonio Brown says he wants to “catch them all,” just like Ash Ketchum from Pokemon.

Sometimes, we strive to live the lives of our favorite fictional characters in our everyday lives, with the understanding that we will likely never be quite like them.

Well, Steelers wideout Antonio Brown is exactly like the character he aims to be.

When asked if he had a reception goal for the upcoming season on ESPN’s NFL Live Wednesday, Brown had a lot to say.

“I don’t have a number, I just want to catch them all,” Brown said. “That’s always my goal is to maximize every opportunity and every throw that’s coming my way. To be consistent, be a guy Ben [Roethlisberger] can trust, be a guy the team can rely on and just like the Ash Ketchum from the Pokémon, I just want to catch them all.”

Just like Ash Ketchum. My man, you are Ash Ketchum. You led the league with 136 catches last season, on 193 targets. That’s 70 percent! You regularly secure balls with one hand, just like this:

AB has a new nickname — Ketchum Brown.
