Patriots defensive end Chris Long, who was born in California and raised in Virginia, is apparently a huge fan of the New York Knicks, or the team‘s new coach, Jeff Hornacek.

As the Knicks held a Twitter Q&A, Long submitted a question to Hornacek about his favorite player in franchise history. When Hornacek answered, Long said it “made his Monday.”

Hornacek couldn’t choose between Earl Monroe, Clyde Frazier and Bill Bradley, for what it’s worth.

Given that New York and Boston are natural rivals, Long’s affection for the ‘tape could either help bring the cities together, or push them further apart.
