Tim Tebow visits Orlando shooting victim in hospital

Tim Tebow visited an Orlando shooting victim in the hospital.

Former Florida Gators and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow visited a victim of the Orlando nightclub shooting in the hospital Tuesday.

49 people were killed and many more were sent to the hospital as a result of the shooting, the worst terror attack in the United States since Sept. 11. The shooting occurred at Pulse, a gay nightclub.

Tebow grew up in northern Florida, on the opposite side of the state than Orlando. The person he visited, Rodney Sumter, was a former teammate of Tebow’s in high school. Sumter, a bartender at Pulse, was shot three times and his two broken arms as a result of the attack.
