Tony Hawk is 48, which means he should probably be avoiding skateboards altogether and especially not trying trick that are extremely difficult, even for people at the peak of their athleticism.

The legendary skater is not your average person though and that is on clear display in this new video. It shows the sports' elder statesman hitting his signature 900-degree spin.

Hawk first landed the trick 17 years ago at the 1999 X-Games, earning first place Best Trick. He is the first man to land the move in competition.
