LeBron James offers to join Liverpool for team’s California games
Liverpool may be getting a new super-sub in the form of minority owner LeBron James.
Liverpool will be playing two games in California this summer as part of the International Champions Cup, and if they find themselves a man short they have a standing offer from one of their minority owners who knows a thing or three about championships.
LeBron James used his Facebook account to let the historic English club know he would be happy to grab a kit and join the team as they take on Chelsea and AC Milan this summer.
Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren quickly let everyone know he would happily give up his No. 6 for a chance to play alongside King James.
James became a partial owner of the club back in 2011, and would certainly be an interesting addition to the team, which finished in eighth place in the English Premier League last season.
