Dean Ambrose defeated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match at Battleground to retain the WWE Championship on Sunday night.

In the Shield reunion match, Ambrose landed “Dirty Deeds” on Reigns and pinned him clean to win.

​With Ambrose headed to SmackDown, and Reigns and Rollins going to Raw, WWE’s re-vamped second show will keep the title. After the match, the SmackDown locker room came out to celebrate with Ambrose.

Randy Orton also returned at the pay-per-view and took a shot at Brock Lesnar, and Enzo, Cass and John Cena defeated The Club in a six-man tag-team match.
