The Broncos squeaked out a victory over the Panthers Thursday night in a rematch of last season's Super Bowl. Denver linebacker Brandon Marshall took a knee for the national anthem while Cam Newton (between flossings) took several nasty head shots. Dan Wetzel has a great piece on how the NFL failed the Panthers QB. Other highlights included Al Michaels' and Peyton Manning's awkward handshake, Von Miller's Yeezy cleats and a new Tecmo Bowl-inspired commercial for Kia featuring Bo Jackson and Brian Bosworth.
