Cameroon loses U-17 Women’s World Cup match in most ridiculous way possible

Monday October 3rd, 2016

Florida State freshman Deyna Castellanos made the most of her opportunity in a Venezuelan kit by scoring directly off the kickoff from the center circle in stoppage time just moments after Cameroon tied the game at the U-17 Women's World Cup in Jordan. Venezuela won 2–1 and trails Germany and Canada by a point in Group B through two matches.

Castellanos also scored Venezuela's first goal in the 23rd minute.

Castellanos has seen success at international tournaments in the past as she scored seven goals during the 2014 U-17 FIFA Women's World Cup to earn the Golden Boot.
