Ciara and Russell Wilson announce they are expecting their first child

Ciara confirmed that she and Russell Wilson are expecting their first child together.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara are expecting their first child, she announced Tuesday. 

E! News reported last week that the couple was expecting and the couple confirmed the news with a pair of Instagram posts. 

The couple were married in July in England, four months after announcing they were engaged. 

Ciara, 30, has a two-year-old son with rapper Future and Wilson is reportedly quite close with the baby, also named Future.

Wilson would like to have two or three children, E! reported.
