One of the most fascinating stories going into Signing Day (Feb. 4, 2015) was whether Cordell Broadus, a four-star wide receiver prospect and son of Calvin Broadus, better known as Snoop Dogg, would sign with his father's favorite team USC or with crosstown rivals UCLA. Broadus announced he would be a Bruin in the fall, and his father supported him enough to make a major wardrobe change. However, the incoming freshman did not report to UCLA's fall camp, had not contacted university or football officials since camp began, and will now quit the football team. Though he will remain enrolled at UCLA, it remains to be seen if Snoop will revert back to being a devout Trojans fan.
