Phil Simms Highly Impressed with Matt Damon Playing Quarterback, “He Had a Good Motion”

Phil Simms reveals Matt Damon has some quarterback skills in the behind-the-scenes footage of his fan-favorite Super Bowl commercial.

The world fell in love with the Dunkin' Donuts Super Bowl commercial that featured Tom Brady, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon in a sort of hip-hop group. While Damon was hilarious throughout the entire ad, there is some behind-the-scenes video that showcases him throwing the ball around with Brady.

Phil Simms commented on Damon's ball-handling skills, even going so far as to say the actor has "good motion."

"Brady's throwing into the target. And of course, he's hitting it every time. Matt Damon had a good motion. Really good. Okay, Really good. Like, no joke."

The Super Bowl commercial with Matt Damon was arguably the best and funniest that aired during the game. The behind-the-scenes video featuring him throwing the ball can be seen here

It is a bit strange that Damon has not been in a sports movie yet, but he could certainly make a case to be in one with his throwing skills. He is no Brady, but he was throwing the ball with some good accuracy in the behind-the-scenes footage.

His throwing skills were enough to impress legendary QB Phil Simms.
