Wednesday's game between the Minnesota Twins and Houston Astros was suspended in the fourth inning due to severe storms and will resume at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

The Twins started Wednesday's game on a positive note as Jorge Polanco got Minnesota on the board with an RBI single in the first. The lead didn't last long, however, as Chris Archer had a rough night on the mound.

Archer allowed five runs in three innings, including a solo home run by Jose Altuve in the third inning.

Just as Yennier Cano was set to make his major league debut after being called up from the St. Paul Saints, a series of storms ripped through the Twin Cities area and delayed the game for an hour – before officially suspending it.

The Twins will wrap up Wednesday's game before playing the series finale 30 minutes after the conclusion on Thursday afternoon.
