Josh Dobbs listed with ankle issue on Wednesday injury report

Dobbs was a full participant while Justin Jefferson remains limited

If the Vikings didn't have enough QB injury issues to deal with this season, they've got another to deal with now that Josh Dobbs showed up on the team's injury report Wednesday with an ankle issue.

Coming off a two touchdown performance against the Saints, Dobbs was listed as a full participant despite dealing with an ankle injury. Minnesota didn't hold an actual practice Wednesday ahead of their Sunday night clash with the Broncos, but still posted their biggest injury report of the season.

Cornerback Akayleb Evans (calf) and running back Alexander Mattison (concussion) were both listed as being held out of practice. Kicker Greg Joseph was listed as a DNP for a personal matter.

The team continues to ramp up Justin Jefferson for a potential return with head coach Kevin O'Connell telling the media the receiver is "doing everything in his power" to play Sunday.

Alongside Jefferson as limited participants were linebacker Brian Asamoah II (ankle), tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs) and quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion). Hockenson had a monster game against the Saints despite battling a rib injury, catching 11 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown.

Minnesota also opened QB Nick Mullens' 21-day practice window as he gets closer to returning form injured reserve.

Defensive end Dean Lowry (groin), wide receiver K.J. Osborn (concussion) and offensive lineman Chris Reed (foot) were all listed as full participants with injury designations.

Coming off a hard fought Monday night win over the Bills, Denver has a rather short injury report. Starting left guard Ben Powers did not practice with a foot injury while cornerback P.J. Locke did not participate with an ankle injury.

Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (ankle) and linebacker Baron Browning (wrist/knee) were both listed as limited participants on the injury report.
