Ohio State will not get another official visit from running back Richard Young, one of the best players in the 2023 college football recruiting cycle.

Young announced that he won't take a fifth visit to Columbus, but that doesn't mean the Florida-based 5-star player isn't still considering the Buckeyes.

Young said he will instead take official visits to Oklahoma, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Georgia.

He then confirmed that the "Buckeyes will still be in my top school [list]."

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound back has been in Columbus to meet with Ohio State officials a few times, including during OSU's home game against Penn State.

Young included Ohio State in his list of seven finalists, along with Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas A&M.

Young is the No. 2 rated running back and No. 19 overall prospect in the 2023 college football recruiting class, according to 247Sports.

In 27 career games, Young has rushed 407 times for 3,591 yards for 33 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. He has 17 100-yard games and averages 133 yards per game.

Young had his best season last fall at Lehigh Acres (Fla.), carrying 196 times for 1,755 yards and 19 rushing touchdowns.
