New York Yankees star Aaron Judge joined a rare and unique club in baseball history on Monday night with a dominant performance against the Seattle Mariners.

Judge hit two home runs in the victory -- and also brought one back defensively.

The feat's importance was captured on Twitter by @OptaSTATS:

Aaron Judge of the @Yankees is the first MLB player to hit multiple homers and rob a homer in the same game since he himself did it on July 29 of last year.

He's the only MLB player in the last 30 years to have 2 such games in his career.

After winning the American League MVP in 2022, Judge is off to another torrid start this year. Despite missing some time with a hip issue, he's got 17 home runs already and 38 RBI.

He's hitting .302 on the year with an OPS of 1.087.

Lifetime, he's a .285 hitter with 237 homers. The Yankees offense goes as he goes, as evidenced by another tweet put out on Tuesday by Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

From the @MLBNetwork research crew -- the #Yankees are going as far as Aaron Judge can carry them.

Judge in 28 Yankees wins .390/.492/.950, 16 HR, 34 RBI

Judge in 17 Yankees losses .161/.264/.242, 1 HR, 4 RBI

The Yankees are currently 33-23 on the season and are in third place in the American League East. They'll take on the Mariners again on Tuesday night at 10:10 p.m. ET as Nestor Cortes pitches against Logan Gilbert.
