The Boston Celtics are on the verge of completing the greatest comeback in NBA history and the Boston Red Sox have something to say about it.

After the Celtics beat the Miami Heat at the buzzer in Game Six of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday, the Celtics tweeted: "DERRICK WHITE FOR THE WIN."

The Red Sox simply replied to the tweet with this: "we love a game 7."

The Red Sox famously came back from a 3-0 series deficit in the 2004 American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees. They went on to win the World Series that year, breaking the 86-year drought.

If the Celtics are able to complete their 0-3 comeback, they'll be the first team in NBA history to come back from that. NBA teams who trailed 3-0 are 0-150.

The Celtics can break that history on Monday night during Game 7 at TD Garden.

White scored on a putback at the buzzer for the win for Boston, while Jayson Tatum had 31 points and Jaylen Brown had 26.

As for the Red Sox themselves, they are playing better. After getting swept by the Los Angeles Angels this week, the Sox have beaten the Arizona Diamondbacks in each of the first two games of this series.

The Red Sox can go for the sweep on Sunday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. ET.

The Sox will be off on Memorial Day Monday before returning home to start a series at Fenway Park on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Reds.

With the off day Monday, there's plenty of chances for the Sox to root for the Celtics.
