Chris Paul's Status For Suns-Lakers Game

Chris Paul has been ruled out for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in California to face off with the Los Angeles Lakers.

For the game, they will be without their starting point guard, as Chris Paul has been ruled out due to rest.

Underdog NBA: "Chris Paul (rest) ruled out Friday."

The future Hall of Famer is in the middle of a solid season with averages of 13.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.5 steals per contest in 59 games.

Paul is also shooting 44.0% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range.

In addition to his solid play, the Suns are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-35 record in 80 games.

They are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak and are 7-3 in their last ten games.

On the road, the Suns have struggled, going just 17-23 in the 40 games they have played outside of Arizona.

Paul was traded to the franchise during the summer of 2020, and he helped lead them to the NBA Finals the following season.

In 2022, the Suns had the best record in the league during the regular season but lost in the second round of the NBA Playoffs to the Dallas Mavericks.

As for the Lakers, they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 41-39 record in 80 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and a very solid 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles, California.
