Deandre Ayton's Injury Status For Suns-Kings Game

Deandre Ayton has been ruled out for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in California to face off with the Sacramento Kings.

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Deandre Ayton has been ruled out due to a hip injury.

The former Arizona star has missed each of the last two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.

Underdog NBA: "Deandre Ayton (hip) ruled out for Friday."

Ayton is in the middle of another solid season with averages of 18.3 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest in 61 games (while shooting 58.9% from the field).

He has helped the Suns become one of the best teams in the NBA over the last two seasons.

They are currently tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the fourth seed in the Western Conference and have a 38-34 record in 72 games.

The Suns are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 5-5 in their last ten games.

On the road, they are 15-22 in the 37 games they have played away from Arizona (they are 23-12 at home).

As for the Kings, they are the third seed in the west with a 43-29 record in 72 games.

They are on a two-game losing streak but also 6-4 in their last ten games.

At home, the Kings have been fantastic, going 22-14 in the 36 games they have hosed in Sacramento, California.

The franchise hasn't made the NBA Playoffs since the 2006 season.
