The Heat have a 1-0 lead in the series after pulling off a 123-116 upset in Boston on Wednesday night.

Despite being the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, they are one of the best teams in the league.

In the first two rounds, they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the first seed) and the New York Knicks.

Jimmy Butler has been playing like a top-five player, with averages of 31.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.1 steals per contest while shooting 52.2% from the field through the first 11 games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are the second seed and have defeated the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers in the first two rounds.

They are in the Conference Finals for the fifth time in the previous seven seasons and are coming off a year where they made NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 (they lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games).
