FINAL UPDATE: James Harden's Injury Status In 76ers-Spurs Game

James Harden went to the locker room during Friday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: James Harden started the second half.  

On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers are in Texas facing off with the San Antonio Spurs.      

During the game, 2018 MVP James Harden went to the locker room with an arm injury.  

Via Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer: "James Harden heading to the locker room after appearing to hurt his elbow (something on his arm) on that last driving finish."

Harden has played 14 minutes and currently has eight points, two rebounds and seven assists.   

The superstar guard is in the middle of another tremendous season with averages of 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 11.0 assists per contest in 34 games.

Friday's contest is at halftime and the 76ers have a 73-61 lead over the Spurs. 

Joel Embiid leads the 76ers with 18 points, while three players on the Spurs have scored in double-digits.  

The 76ers came into the night as one of the hottest teams in the NBA and have gone 8-2 in their last ten games. 

They are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-17 record in 50 games. 

In addition, the 76ers have been very solid on the road, going 13-9 in the 22 games they have played outside of Pennsylvania. 

There will likely be an update on Harden's status for the rest of the night by the middle of the third quarter. 

As for the Spurs, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 14-38 record in 52 games. 

At home, they are 9-20 in 29 games hosted in San Antonio, Texas.
