Kyle Lowry's Final Injury Status For Hawks-Heat Game

Kyle Lowry has been upgraded to available for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat are hosting the Atlanta Hawks for the play-in tournament.

For the game, they will have their starting point guard in action, as Kyle Lowry has been upgraded to available.

Underdog NBA: "Kyle Lowry (knee) available to play Tuesday."

The NBA Champion point guard finished the regular season with averages of 11.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.

He also shot 40.4% from the field and 34.5% from the three-point range.

The Heat finished the year as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and had a 44-38 record.

They went 6-4 over their final ten games and have been excellent on their home floor, going 27-14 in 41 games hosted in Miami, Florida.

Last year, they made the Eastern Conference Finals for the second time in three seasons (they lost to the Boston Celtics in Game 7).

Lowry is in his second season playing for the Heat, and while he has had a down season, he will still be an essential part of their team for the postseason.

As for the Hawks, they are the eighth seed and went 41-41.

They finished the year 5-5 over their final ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

On the road, the Hawks went 17-24 in the 41 games they played away from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

They have made the playoffs in each of the last two seasons and lost to the Heat in the first round (last year).
