Lakers And Pelicans Final Injury Reports And Starting Lineups

The Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.

On Tuesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in Louisiana.   

For the game, both teams have finalized their injury reports and starting lineups.

The Lakers have ruled out Mo Bamba, LeBron James, Cole Swider and Scotty Pippen Jr.   

Meanwhile, eight-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis has been upgraded to available. 

The Pelicans have ruled out Jose Alvarado, Zion Williamson, E.J. Liddell and Dereon Seabron. 

2020 NBA All-Star Brandon Ingram has been upgraded to available after missing two games with an ankle injury.

The starting lineups for both teams have been relayed by Underdog NBA. 

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Lakers will start Russell, Beasley, Brown Jr., Vanderbilt, Davis on Tuesday."

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Pelicans will start McCollum, Jones, Ingram, Murphy, Valanciunas on Tuesday."

The two teams come into the night as part of the three-way tie for the ninth seed in the Western Conference (they're both 33-35 in 68 games).

Therefore, the game will have significant implications on the standings. 

Right now, the Lakers are 7-3 in their last ten games and 15-19 in 34 games on the road. 

They had been on a three-game winning streak before losing to the New York Knicks on Sunday night. 

As for the Pelicans, they are 3-7 in their last ten games but an excellent 22-12 in 34 games hosted in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Lakers and Pelicans last faced off in February (in Los Angeles, California), and the Lakers won 120-102. 

Davis led the way with 25 points, ten rebounds and five assists.
