FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James' Injury Status For Lakers-Pacers Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Thursday’s game.

FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James will be available.

On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Indianapolis to face off with the Indiana Pacers.

However, their best player LeBron James is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (ankle) questionable for Thursday."

The four-time NBA Champion is in the middle of a tremendous season with averages of 30.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest (while shooting 50.5% from the field).

That said, the Lakers come into the matchup as the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 24-28 record in 52 games.

They are coming off a 129-123 (overtime) victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday evening.

Over the last ten games, the Lakers have gone 5-5, and they are 11-16 in the 27 games they have played on the road.

Despite the team's lack of success, the conference has been tight, so they are only 3.0 games out of the tie for the fifth seed.

Last season, the Lakers went 33-49 and missed the NBA Playoffs.

As for the Pacers, they were one of the best surprises of the 2022-23 NBA season but have cooled off over the last month.

They are 1-9 in their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.

Currently, the Pacers are 24-28 in 52 games, which has them tied with the Chicago Bulls for the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 16-10 in the 26 games they have hosted at home in Indianapolis.
