FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James' Injury Status For Thunder-Lakers Game

LeBron James is on the injury report for Tuesday’s game.

FINAL UPDATE: LeBron James is available.

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder in California.

Their best player LeBron James is on the injury report listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.

However, James, who is only 36 points away from passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, said that he would play.

"I'm tired as hell but I'll be ready to go on Tuesday," James said after the Lakers lost 131-126 to the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana.

Even at 38, the four-time NBA Champion remains one of the top ten players in the league.

He is averaging 30.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.1 assists per contest in 43 games (while shooting 50.5% from the field).

Despite his dominance, the Lakers have struggled and are currently the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 25-29 record in 54 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 13-12 in the 25 they have hosted at home in Los Angeles, California.

James is in his 20th season in the NBA (fifth with the Lakers), and they are coming off a year where they went 33-49 and missed the postseason.

That said, the west has been close this season, and they are only 3.5 games out of the fifth seed.

This will be the first time the Lakers have faced off with the Thunder during the 2022-23 season.

If James does not break the scoring record on Tuesday, he will more than likely pass Abdul-Jabbar on Thursday evening against the Milwaukee Bucks (at home).
