UPDATE: LeBron James is available.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in California for the play-in tournament.

For the game, LeBron James is on the injury report.

However, the four-time NBA Champion is listed as probable, so he should be in the starting lineup.

Underdog NBA: "LeBron James (foot) listed probable for Tuesday."

James finished the regular season with sensational averages of 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field.

At 38, he still remains among the ten best players in the league and made his 19th straight All-Star Game.

The Lakers got off to a slow start to the year but were able to finish as the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 43-39 record.

They went 8-2 over their last ten games and finished on a two-game winning streak.

At home, the Lakers have been solid, going 23-18 in the 41 games they hosted in Los Angeles, California.

James is in his fifth season with the franchise and led them to the NBA Championship in 2020.

However, they went just 33-49 in 2022 and missed the playoffs (and play-in tournament).

As for the Timberwolves, they are the eighth seed and finished with a 42-40 record.

Over their final ten games, they went 7-3, and they are on a three-game winning streak.

That said, the Timberwolves have struggled on the road, going just 20-21 in the 41 games they have played away from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
