LeBron James' Shocking Tweet After Timberwolves-Lakers Game

LeBron James sent out a tweet on Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102 in the play-in tournament.

The game went into overtime after Dennis Schroder made a three-pointer with 1.4 seconds left in regulation to give the Lakers a 98-95 lead (Mike Conley then made three free throws with 0.01 seconds left).

With the victory, the Lakers have now clinched the seventh seed in the Western Conference and will face off with Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA Playoffs (Game 1 is on Sunday afternoon in Tennessee).

Four-time NBA Champion LeBron James scored a team-high 30 points to go with ten rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks in 45 minutes of playing time.

The game did not end until 1 A.M. Eastern Time, but James appeared to be up early on Wednesday morning, as he sent out a tweet (at 8:59 Eastern Time) that is going viral.

James: "There's just no way I'm up right now!! C'mon man!"

Considering he still had to do media and drive home (after the game), the 38-year-old likely didn't go to sleep till much later in the night.

Therefore, it's surprising that he was up so early.

The 19-time NBA All-Star is still among the ten best players in the league and had a fantastic regular season with averages of 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest in 55 games while shooting 50.0% from the field.

He is in his 20th season in the NBA and his fifth playing for the Lakers.
