Malcolm Brogdon's Current Injury Status For Heat-Celtics Game

Malcolm Brogdon is on the injury report for Game 7.

UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon is available for Game 7.

On Monday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Miami Heat in Massachusetts for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

For the game, 2023 6th Man of The Year Malcolm Brogdon is on the injury report listed as questionable (he missed Game 6 due to a forearm injury).

However, Marc J. Spears of ESPN's Andscape reports that Brogdon will likely play in the game.

Via Spears on Monday afternoon: "Malcolm Brogdon is expected to play for the Celtics in Game 7 tonight, a source told @andscape."

Brogdon is in his first season with the franchise but is one of the most important players on the team.

The former Virginia star averaged a very productive 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest during the regular season.

He also shot an outstanding 48.4% from the field and 44.4% from the three-point range.

After losing the first three games of the series, the Celtics are on the verge of making NBA history.

If they are able to win on Monday night, the Celtics will be the first team ever to overcome a 3-0 deficit in an NBA Playoff series.

The Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference and are coming off a season where they made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 (they lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games).

Whoever wins Game 7 will advance to the Finals and face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (who swept the Los Angeles Lakers).
