UPDATE: Nikola Jokic's Current Injury Status For Nuggets-Suns Game

Nikola Jokic is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Nikola Jokic has been ruled out for Friday's game.

On Friday night, the Denver Nuggets will be in Arizona to face off with the Phoenix Suns.

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Nikola Jokic is on the injury report listed as questionable.

The two-time MVP missed Thursday's 107-88 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, so this could be his second straight game out of the lineup.

Underdog NBA: "Nikola Jokic (calf) listed questionable Friday."

Jokic is having a sensational season with averages of 24.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 9.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 67 games.

The former second-round pick is also shooting 63.4% from the field and 39.0% from the three-point range.

In addition to his unbelievable play, the Nuggets are the best team in the Western Conference, with a 51-25 record in 76 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 19-18 in the 37 games they have played on the road outside of Denver.

Last season, the Nuggets dealt with injuries and lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Suns are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-35 record in 76 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and 4-6 in their last ten games.

At home, the Suns have been good, going 25-12 in the 37 games they have hosted in Arizona.

In 2021, they made the NBA Finals, and last season they lost in the second round of the playoffs to the Dallas Mavericks.
