UPDATE: Thunder And Pelicans Injury Reports

The Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans have announced their injury reports.

Larry Nance Jr. has been ruled out.                 

On Wednesday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans will face off in Louisiana for the play-in tournament.   

For the game, the two teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 3:30 Eastern Time).   

The Thunder have ruled out Jared Butler, Chet Holmgren, Aleksej Pokusevski, Oliver Sarr and Kenrich Williams.  

Meanwhile, the Pelicans will be without Jose Alvarado, E.J. Liddell and Zion Williamson. 

Veteran forward Larry Nance Jr. is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.

The Thunder ended the year as the tenth seed in the Western Conference and had a 40-42 record.  

They finished 4-6 over their final ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

On the road, the Thunder are 16-25 in the 41 games they have played away from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  

As for the Pelicans, they are the ninth seed with a 42-40 record. 

They are 7-3 over their final ten games and an outstanding 27-14 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

The winner of Wednesday's game will play the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center on Friday night for a chance to be the eighth seed (and face off with the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs).  

On the other hand, the loser will be heading home for the offseason. 

Last year, the Pelicans lost in the first round of the playoffs, while the Thunder haven't made the postseason since 2020.
