The biggest struggles for the Warriors came on the road, where they went just 11-30 in the 41 games they played away from the Chase Center in San Francisco.

As for the Kings, they finished the year as the third seed in the west with a 48-34 record.

At home, they went 23-18 in the 41 games they hosted in Sacramento.

The Warriors won the 2022 NBA Championship, which was their fourth title in the previous eight seasons (they have also been to the Finals six times in that span).

Meanwhile, this is the first time the Kings have been to the playoffs since the 2006 season, which had been the longest drought in the NBA.

During the season, the Warriors went 3-1 in their four matchups with the Kings.
