Anthony Davis Made NBA History 5 Times In Suns-Lakers Game

Anthony Davis moved up on the NBA's all-time scoring list in Wednesday's game between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Phoenix Suns in California.

Anthony Davis came into the game with 15,578 points, which ranked 134th on the NBA's all-time scoring list

The eight-time All-Star has now moved up to 129th on the list, after passing Rashard Lewis (15,579), Artis Gilmore (15,579), Walt Frazier (15,581), Terry Porter (15,586) and Lou Williams (15,593).

He only needed 16 points to make NBA history five times in one night.

The former Kentucky star is one of the best-scoring big men to ever play in the NBA, and there is an excellent chance he will end up among the top 50 by the time his career is over.

He has impressive averages of 25.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.1 blocks per contest (while shooting 55.9% from the field).

Davis is in his fourth season with the Lakers after spending the first seven seasons of his career with the New Orleans Pelicans (he was the first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft).

The next player for him to pass on the list will be Sam Cassell (15,635).

As for the Lakers, they came into the night with a 35-37 record in 72 games, which has them tied with the New Orleans Pelicans for the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 19-17 in the 36 games they have hosted on their home floor.

If the Lakers beat the Suns, they will move ahead of the Utah Jazz for the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot).
