On Sunday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Chicago Bulls in California.

They lost 118-108, which snapped a three-game winning streak.

During the game, Anthony Davis made NBA history by moving up on the all-time scoring list.

He came into the day with 15,642 points, which ranked 128th on the list and only needed six points to pass Antoine Walker (15,647) for 127th.

Davis finished the game with 15 points, nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in 36 minutes of playing time.

Now that he has passed Walker, the next player for him to move ahead of will be Jeff Hornacek (15,659).

The former Kentucky star has been moving up the list at a fast pace and has gone from 134th to 127th in three games.

Davis was the first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft and is in his 11th season in the league (his fourth with the Lakers).

Currently, the 30-year-old has impressive averages of 26.1 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest in 49 games while shooting 56.5% from the field.

The Lakers dropped to 37-38 in 75 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday evening, the Lakers will once again face off with the Bulls, but this time the matchup will be at the United Center in Chicago.
