BREAKING: Golden State Warriors Star Officially Suspended For Friday's Game

Draymond Green has been suspended for Friday's game between the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks.

On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors will be in Georgia to face off with the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.

However, they will be without one of their best players, as Draymond Green has been suspended.

The former Michigan State star received a technical foul during Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, which was his 16th of the season (an automatic trigger for a one-game suspension).

Via NBA Communications: "Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been suspended one game without pay for receiving his 16th technical foul of the 2022-23 season, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations."

Green is currently in the middle of another productive season with averages of 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 62 games (while shooting 52.3% from the field).

The Warriors lost 134-126 to the Clippers despite Steph Curry having 50 points.

Meanwhile, Green finished his night with eight points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal.

The Warriors are the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot) in the Western Conference with a 36-34 record in 70 games.

That said, they are one of the worst teams on the road in the NBA.

In the 34 games they have played away from the Chase Center in San Francisco, the Warriors are just 7-27.

Following Friday's showdown with the Hawks, they will play three more games on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks.
