Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets are not off to a good start on the new season.

On Wednesday night they got crushed by the Miami Heat 106-93 to fall to 2-3.

The loss also has them at 1-2 at home, and in all three losses they've lost by double-digits.

After the game, Kevin Durant, who had 25 points and 11 rebounds spoke to reporters.

"I feel like we're generating good shots, but we're just not knocking them down," Durant said postgame.

Durant is averaging 29.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in the first five games.

On Friday night they will play their fourth straight game at home in Brooklyn at Barclays Center when they host an Indiana Pacers team that is 1-4, and desperate for a win.

The Heat advanced to 3-1 after their win in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
