Ja Morant looks like he could be an All-Star this season.

Yes, even in the Western Conference, which is loaded with star guards on every single team.

The 2019 second overall pick has looked incredible to start the new NBA season.

Last year he led a young Memphis Grizzlies to the NBA Playoffs and averaged 19.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game.

There was no question he was really good.

However, he has started the new season looking elite.

In the first three games the Grizzlies are 2-1, and Morant is averaging 35.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game.

On Sunday evening in Los Angeles, the Grizzlies lost a thriller to the Los Angeles Lakers, but Morant went off for 40 points, three rebounds, ten assists and three steals.

If the Grizzlies can remain a top-eight team in the standing by the All-Star break there is no question that Morant will be making his first trip to the All-Star game.
