Dwyane Wade sent out a Tweet on Sunday congratulating Candace Parker on winning the WNBA Championship with the Chicago Sky.

The Tweet from Wade can be seen embedded below from his Twitter account.

The Tweet from Wade said: "LEGEND!!!!! @Candace_Parker went back home and got that chip!!! Congrts to @chicagosky on winning y’all first 🏆 "

Parker and the Sky won Game 5 over the Phoenix Mercury to win the series 4-1.

The final score was 80-74.

Parker had 16 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.

The 13 rebounds were a team-high.

Parker, like Wade, is from Illinois, and she was playing for her home-town team.

Parker is a six-time All-Star, two-time MVP, and now a two-time WNBA Champion.

Before coming to Chicago this season, she had spent the majority of her career on the Los Angeles Sparks.

As for Wade, he is a three-time NBA Champion and 13-time All-Star.

He played for the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers over a 16-year NBA career that will without a doubt land him as a first ballot Hall of Famer.
