Kyrie Irving's Viral Post On X After Mavs-Celtics Game
On Friday evening, the Dallas Mavericks played the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.
The Mavs were dominated and lost by a score of 138-110.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 32 points, eight rebounds and three assists while shooting 10/19 from the field and 5/9 from the three-point range.
Kyrie Irving spent two seasons with the Celtics, so whenever he returns to Boston, there is a lot of attention on the game.
The 2016 NBA Champion finished his night with 19 points, four rebounds and two assists while shooting 9/23 from the field and 1/7 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time.
He was also heckled by the fans in the arena.
After the loss, Irving sent out a post on X.
Irving wrote: "Thank you for everything GOD.
I gotta stay poised and accept all the tests on this journey. The wins, the losses, and the emotional moments, are lessons to grow from.
No matter what, I gotta keep persevering through the Hate, the next generation is watching close.

Irving is in his second season with Dallas and is averaging 25.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field and 41.8% from the three-point range in 38 games.
With the loss, the Mavs dropped to 34-26 in 60 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
They are 7-3 over their last ten games and will have their next matchup on Sunday when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.
