LeBron James' Hilarious Quote After The Lakers Beat The Timberwolves

LeBron James had a fantastic quote after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102 in overtime to clinch the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

The game was an absolute thriller, as the Lakers trailed by double-digits in the second half but had an impressive comeback to force the overtime period.

With 1.4 seconds left, Dennis Schroder nailed a three-pointer to give the Lakers the lead.

However, Anthony Davis fouled Mike Conley with 0.01 seconds left and Conley hit all three free throws to force overtime.

Luckily, the foul didn't come back to hurt the Lakers since they got the win.

After the game, LeBron James spoke to Allie LaForce of the NBA on TNT and had a hilarious quote.

James said jokingly: "It's unfortunate that A.D. had a brain fart and messed his game-winner up."

Davis then came to the microphone and said: "I messed his game-winner up. I apologize, I definitely apologize."

They were both having fun and joking around, and the interaction went viral on Twitter.

James finished the game with a team-high 30 points and also dished out six assists and grabbed ten rebounds in 45 minutes of playing time.

On the defensive end, he had one steal and two blocks.

The four-time NBA Champion is in his 20th season in the NBA (his fifth playing with the Lakers).

They will now face off with Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Game 1 of the series will take place on Sunday afternoon in Memphis, Tennessee.
