LeBron James' Viral Tweet After The Lakers Beat The Thunder

LeBron James sent out a tweet after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-111 at home in California.    

Anthony Davis led the way with an impressive 37 points, 15 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes of playing time.  

They played their 13th straight game without LeBron James, who has been out with a foot injury

That said, the Lakers were able to win their third game in a row and are 7-3 in their last ten games. 

After the big victory, James quote tweeted a tweet from the Lakers, and his post has over 56,000 likes. 

James tweeted: "Let’s Gooooooooooooooo!!!! #LakeShow"

The Lakers are now 37-37 in 74 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 1.5 games back of the Golden State Warriors (who are the sixth seed) but also only 1.5 games ahead of the Utah Jazz (who are the 12th seed). 

At home, the Lakers are 21-17 in the 38 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.  

On Sunday afternoon, they will host the Chicago Bulls.  

As for James, he had been in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per contest in 47 games (while shooting 50.1% from the field). 

He is in his 20th season in the league (and fifth playing for the Lakers).

They won the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat in 2020 but have also missed the playoffs in two out of the last four seasons.
