LeBron James' Viral Tweet After The Lakers Beat The Timberwolves
On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (on the road at the Target Center) 123-111.
The contest was the second of their five-game road trip, and they won each of the first two (the first was against the Chicago Bulls).
Eight-time All-Star Anthony Davis led the way with an incredible 38 points, 17 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 37 minutes of playing time.
Following the victory, point guard Dennis Schroder sent out a tweet and four-time NBA Champion LeBron James quote tweeted the post.
Schroder tweeted: "YESSIR! 💯🔥💯🔥#LakersWin"
James quote tweeted: "Yessir!!! #Lakeshow"
Schroder finished his night with 11 points, six assists and two steals in 22 minutes, while James had 18 points, ten rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks in 32 minutes.
The Lakers improved to 39-38 in 77 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They are 6-4 in their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
In addition, the Lakers improved to 18-20 in the 38 games they have played on the road.
Currently, they are just 1.5 games back of the Golden State Warriors for the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot).
On Sunday night, the Lakers will play their next game when they face off with the Houston Rockets in Texas.
After the Rockets, they play the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers before their next home game on April 7 against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns.
