Magic Johnson's Reaction To Heat-Nuggets Game 1

Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson sent out several tweets after Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

On Thursday evening, the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets faced off for Game 1 of the NBA Finals in Denver.

The Nuggets won the game by a score of 104-93, and two-time MVP Nikola Jokic led the way with 27 points, ten rebounds, 14 assists, one steal and one block.

Game 2 will be back in Denver on Sunday night before the teams go to Florida for Games 3 and 4.

On Friday night, Basketball Hall of Famer (and Los Angeles Lakers legend) Magic Johnson sent out three tweets with his reaction to Game 1.

Johnson's first tweet: "Jokic and Murray led their team to a 104-93 victory over the Miami Heat last night. Jokic recorded another triple double; 27 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds, and Jamal Murray finished with 26 points and 10 assists!"

Johnson's second tweet: "The real heroes of the game were Aaron Gordon (16 points), Michael Porter Jr. (a 14 point and 13 rebound double-double), and Bruce Brown. Brown had 10 big points off the bench."

Johnson's third tweet: "Denver’s length is going to be a major problem for the Miami Heat!"

Johnson has been active on Twitter during the NBA Playoffs, sharing his opinion after games.

He is arguably the best point guard ever and led the Lakers to five NBA Championships over his 13 seasons in the league.

The 2023 NBA Finals is a fascinating matchup, as the Heat are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the Finals, while the Nuggets are there for the first time in franchise history.
