Los Angeles Lakers Make A Roster Move On Wednesday Night

The Los Angeles Lakers recalled Max Christie from the G League after their victory over the Chicago Bulls.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Chicago Bulls 121-110 on the road at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.  

Anthony Davis led the way with an impressive 38 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in 39 minutes of playing time.  

Following the game, the Lakers made a roster move by recalling Max Christie from the G League.  

Via Harrison Faigen of SB Nation: "The Lakers just called Max Christie back up from South Bay. He had 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in their game today."

Christie was the 35th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Michigan State this past summer. 

The 20-year-old has played in 38 games for the Lakers and is averaging 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 41.9% from the field and 41.9% from the three-point range. 

He finished his G League regular season with averages of 14.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest while shooting 41.6% from the field. 

With the win over the Bulls, the Lakers improved to 38-38 in 76 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 6-4 in their last ten games and 17-20 in the 37 games they have played on the road. 

Their following four games will be on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers. 

The Lakers will play their final two games of the regular season at home against the Phoenix Suns and Jazz.
