Basketball Hall of Famer Paul Pierce sent out a Tweet about Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.

The Tweet from Pierce can be seen embedded below from his Twitter account.

Pierce's Tweet said: "The Philadelphia 76’ers need to resolve this Ben Simmons situation not good u don’t want to have a toxic culture when u trying to win a chip thoughts?"

His Tweet came after the news came out that Simmons has been suspended for their first game of the regular season against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday (see Tweet below form The Athletic's Shams Charania).

According to Chariana, head coach Doc Rivers told Simmons to leave practice on Tuesday (see Tweet below).

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski also reported on what happened, and his Tweets can be seen embedded below.

Simmons is a 25-year-old, who has been an All-Star in each of the last three seasons.

The 76ers lost to the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the playoffs last season in Game 7.
