According to Shams Chariana of The Athletic, Zaire Wade is signing a G-League contract, which is expected to ultimately land him with the Salt Lake City Stars (see Tweet embedded below).

Charania's Tweet said: "Zaire Wade, the son of Dwyane Wade, is signing a contract in the NBA G League and is expected to join the Utah Jazz’s affiliate Salt Lake City Stars, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Dwyane Wade is a part-owner of the Jazz."

Zaire is the son of NBA legend Dwyane Wade.

Wade played for the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers during his 16-year NBA career.

Last season, he became a part-owner of the Utah Jazz.

Wade's son Zaire will now likely be playing for the G-League team that is the affiliate of the NBA team that his father is a part-owner of.

He is 19 years old, and according to 247 sports was ranked as a three star recruit coming out of high school.

Going to the G-League means he will forgo playing college basketball.

Wade will easily be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

He has career averages of 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 1,054 regular season games.

He is also a three-time NBA Champion (all with the Heat) and was on some of the greatest teams ever assembled.

in 2010, he re-signed with the Heat, and was infamously joined by LeBron James and Chris Bosh to form the Big 3 on South Beach.

The group won two championships together, and made the NBA Finals four seasons in a row before James went back to Cleveland.
