On Tuesday evening, Marvin Bagley's agent Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management released a statement ripping the Sacramento Kings based on the organization's handling of Bagley.

The statement from Schwartz can be seen in a Tweet that is embedded below from the agency's Twitter account.

The statement said: "Sacramento has informed Marvin Bagley he is not in the opening night rotation, which is completely baffling. It's clear they have no plans for him in the future, and yet, passed on potential deals at last year's deadline and this Sumer based on "value". Instead, they chose to bring him back but not play him, a move completely contradictory to their "value argument. This is a case study in mismanagement by the Kings organization."

Bagley was selected out of Duke with the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Kings.

Bagley averaged 14.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game last season.

The Kings also selected Bagley over Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks) and Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks), who have both been All-Stars already.
