Kevin Durant Will Likely Make Exciting NBA History On Wednesday Night

Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant will likely make NBA history in Wednesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On Wednesday evening, the Phoenix Suns are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder in Arizona.

13-time All-Star Kevin Durant will be playing in his fourth game as a member of the Suns.

They are 3-0 in his first three games and he is averaging an outstanding 26.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest in that span.

Durant has a chance to make exciting NBA history during Wednesday's game.

He is currently 101st on the all-time assists list (4,250), and he is just three assists away from passing Hall of Famer Grant Hill (4,252) to move into the top 100.

Last season, Durant averaged a career-high 6.4 assists per contest, and he is averaging 5.2 assists this season.

Therefore, the former Texas star will likely pass Hill on Wednesday night.

Before getting traded to the Suns last month, Durant had been in his third season playing for the Brooklyn Nets.

He has also had stints with the Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder and Seattle SuperSonics (he was the second pick in the 2007 NBA Draft).

His total averages on the season are an excellent 29.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.5 blocks per contest in 42 games (while shooting 56.6% from the field).

As for the Suns, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 36-29 record in 65 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games and an outstanding 21-10 in the 31 games they have hosted in Phoenix.

This will be Durant's home debut, as his first three games came on the road.
