The rest of the NBA teams around the league will start their season either on Wednesday October 20, or Thursday October 21.

Tuesday evening will just be these four teams.

Nets-Bucks:

The Nets have been in the news quite a bit for the fact that they will be missing their seven-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving for an indefinite amount of time.

Due to the New York City mandate, Irving cannot play in home games at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, if he is not vaccinated.

The Nets could technically use him as a part-time player for road games, but they have come out and said that will not be the case (see Tweet below from The Athletic's Shams Chariana).

As for the Bucks, they return most of their players from last season, and will be looking to defend their 2021 NBA Championship.

They've had a quiet off-season, but for a team that just won an NBA title, that is far form a bad thing.

Warriors-Lakers:

The Lakers lost in the first round of the playoffs last season to Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, but last year should not mean anything for this group.

They are a totally different team with players like Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and Kendrick Nunn added into the fold.

Not to mention they also have Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo back from the 2020 NBA Championship team.

The Warriors come into the season after missing the postseason two seasons in a row.

After making the NBA Finals five times in a row, they have not been very good the last few years.

Steph Curry may have led the NBA in points per game last season (32.0), but he will need help.
