Melvin Gordon Demanding Trade

Frankie Taddeo discusses the value in Fantasy Football after hearing of Melvin Gordon's latest demanding of a trade away from the LA Chargers.

The contract issue between Melvin Gordon and the LA Chargers has taken a "Le'Veon Bell" turn for the worse without a clear end in sight. News broke today that Gordon & his agent have requested a trade after reportedly turning down the Chargers latest offer of $10 million per year. As we saw last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers in regards to star RB Le'Veon Bell, Chargers GM Tom Telesco is taking the same firm stance insisting that the team is not willing to trade him.

As with Bell last season, the team is the one holding all the power. Gordon essentially has no leverage and he can hold out--but he can be fined approximately $40,000 a day for each day of training camp he misses and over $300,000 for each preseason game.
Over at the Fantasy Football World Championship early drafts, Gordon who was a lock 1st Round Pick last season in fantasy football, is now going mid to late 2nd Round.
For those looking to cash in on the value of Gordon's plummeting early ADP--NOW is the time to strike if you desire Gordon to take you over the top in your fantasy league. Gordon averaged 5.1 yards per rush & accounted for 14 TDs in 2018 & rewarded owners in PPR leagues with 50 receptions.

If the Chargers feel they can get back what they desire via trade, imagine how much value early fantasy owners could get if Gordon landed with offensive powers such as the Falcons or Eagles?! I don't believe there is any reason to panic, instead there is value to be found NOW among the apprehension -- because once the contract stalemate gets resolved Gordon will return back into the 1st Round of all PPR drafts.

Do you think the Chargers would comply or could we be looking at a Le'Veon situation here? Draft coming up later this week and I wanna know if it's even worth considering Gordon
